It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally done: everything has been migrated over to WordPress on this new domain. I can’t tell you how long this has been eating at me, but thanks to a personal productivity hack — and it honestly was “one weird trick” like those teaser headers we’ve all seen — I was able to make massive progress in the past couple weeks, and finally wrapped it up today. There may be a small handful of comments from the old site that didn’t make it over, but at this point, I’m not going to worry about those. It’s time to move ahead!
I’ve also been making significant headway in several other areas, including progress on the Python update to my tweenMachine tool for Maya. While working on that, though, and referencing the current MEL version for comparison, I finally came face to face with some nasty UI bugs that have essentially made it impossible to use certain features of the MEL tool. Rather than let them linger any longer, I promptly fixed them, tweaked another UI issue that was visible now that those features were useable once again, and did some other under-the-hood cleanup. The fixed version (2.05) can be downloaded from the new tweenMachine page.
